is a fully functional demonstration version of Hal for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 version
2. It works for 40 minutes before halting. To run the demo again you must first
restart Windows.

de Instalación
Para
poder instalar el producto es necesaria la asistencia del Administrador NT o alguien con
acceso de seguridad equivalente.
The
concept of a screen reader, an application which monitors what's going on in all other
applications, conflicts with the security system of NT. For this reason,
installation of Hal for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 requires the assistance of someone with
Administrator security permissions.
Siga
cuidadosamente estas instrucciones para instalar Hal:
1.
Ingrese al sistema como Administrador -o equivalente- y asigne privilegios de
Administrador al usuario registrado de Hal (al que lo va a utilizar).
2. Ingrese como el usuario registrado de Hal.
3.
Download the program file 052HalNT.EXE onto your
hard disk.
4.
Run the program file 052HalNT.EXE.
When
you run the program file 052HalNT.EXE, it will first create a temporary installation
directory on your hard disk called C:\InstHal and then it will unzip the contents of the
Hal for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 demo disk into this directory.
5. Instale Hal. Run the program file SETUP.EXE from the C:\InstHal
directory.
This will run the Hal, Orpheus and SAM installation program. Please install all
three of these products.
Do
not install the Hal demo to your temporary installation directory, i.e. C:\InstHal. You
must pick a different location for the destination directory.
6.
Termine su sesión y REINICIE el equipo.
7.
Ingrese al sistema como Administrador -o equivalente- y restuare los privilegios
originales del usuario que está instalando Hal. La instalación ha sido completada.
Ingrese como el usuario registrado de Hal para ejecutarlo.
8.
Run Hal by pressing LEFT SHIFT+LEFT CONTROL+H.
Hal will then start and run for about 40 minutes.
Desinstalando
Hal
1. Ingrese al sistema como Administrador -o equivalente- y asigne privilegios de
Administrador al usuario registrado de Hal.
2. Ingrese como el usuario registrado de Hal.
3. Accese la opción 'Ejecutar' desde el menú Inicio e introduzca
'c:\halnt\dolntcfg -r' Reemplace la letra de unidad y el directorio de instalación
de Hal de acuerdo a su equipo.
4. Deberá de obtener un mensaje como 'Controlador de Intercepción Eliminado'
('Interception Driver Succesfully Removed'). Si obtiene cualquier otro mensaje
probablemente no tenga privilegios de seguridad suficientes.
5. Ejecute el programa de desintalación de Hal
6. Salga del sistema y REINICIE el equipo.
7. Ingrese al sistema como Administrador -o equivalente- y restuare los privilegios
originales del usuario que está desinstalando Hal.
Upgrading
If you purchase the full version of Hal then you can safely install it over the top of
your demo version without having to un-install it first.
