Hal comes with the Orpheus multilingual software speech synthesizer for fast and responsive speech output, and also includes Grade 2 Braille support for refreshable Braille displays. A network option may be purchased separately.

  • Cursor Routing allows rapid cursor positioning, object selection and double clicking without moving your hands from the Braille display.

Software Compatibility

 

Hal's unique design philosophy allows it to work out of the box with the majority of Windows 95/98 or Windows NT/2000/XP products without additional configuration.

Network Version

 

A network server installation option is available for Hal. Please ask for details.

English (US and UK), German, Dutch, Swedish and French. (Others will be available later, check availability).
