IBM 3270 emulator compatibility with Dolphin products
Here
is a list of some of the IBM 3270 emulators that work well with Hal, Supernova and Lunar.
This list is by no means exhaustive and other 3270 emulators will be added in due
course. (Thanks to Stan Gowin for his help in compiling this list).

QWS3270 PLUS

QWS3270
PLUS is a 3270/TN3270 emulator which uses TCP/IP and the Winsock interface to enable you
to connect to an IBM mainframe over both LAN and dialup connections. It also has
industry-standard HLLAPI (High Level Language Application Programming Interface) support.
This program works well with speech, magnification and Braille.

For optimal performance with Hal, Supernova and Lunar set QWS3270 PLUS to display a
vertical bar cursor. To do this go into QWS3270 PLUS' "Options" menu
(ALT+P) and choose the menu option "Session" (S). When the Session properties
dialog box appears use CONTROL+TAB to reach the "Cursor" property sheet and then
select the "Vertical Bar" radio button for both the "Normal Mode" and
"Insert Mode" cursors. Finally, press the "Apply" button
followed by the "OK" button to save these changes to your session properties.
