Known
problems with Lunar 95
- If you change to Lunar Control Panel by clicking on the Windows 95 taskbar, Lunar will
display the wrong "last task" in its Control Panel. This is because of a problem
with the way Windows 95 works. When you click on the taskbar you are actually activating
Windows Explorer and then Explorer activates your selected application. This causes Lunar
to think that Windows Explorer was the last active task.
- Lunar does not track the highlight in combo-boxes if the pull down part drops below the
bottom of the current window. This is because Lunar restricts cursor tracking to the
current window's area.
- Lunar does not support mouse trails. If you turn mouse trails on, no trails will be
displayed on the magnified screen.
- Lunar does not track Windows 95 ToolTips.
- If you run a 16-bit application under Windows 95 then Lunar may not be able to update
the display when the application is busy. This is because 16-bit applications prevent
Windows 95's pre-emptive multitasking from working. Lunar works best with 32-bit
applications.
- Hot keys involving numeric keypad keys 0 through 9 don't work properly if you have the
Microsoft Intellipoint mouse software loaded. This is due to a bug in the Intellipoint
software that causes the state of the Num-Lock key to be reported incorrectly.
- The hot key <NUMERIC KEYPAD SLASH>, used to move the split screen position, may
not work with the Microsoft Natural Keyboard. This is because the Microsoft Natural
Keyboard produces the wrong keyboard scan codes for the numeric keypad slash key in some
circumstances.
