For the best results in using JAWS with the Matrox Mystique video card, you should use the settings in the following steps.

1. Open the Start menu, type S for settings and then enter to access the Control Panel.

2. Press the letter d twice which should take you to the Display applet, and press enter to access it.

3. Now push the key combination of Ctrl+Tab until you get to the MGA settings.

4. press the tab key until you arrive at the advanced settings button, and press enter to access them.

5. Push Ctrl+Tab once to get to the performance tab.

6. At this point there should be a series of check boxes with different titles like "Use Bus Mastering", and so on. By default all of these items are checked. Uncheck all the boxes accept the one that says bus mastering. This will shut off most of the accelerated drawing features etc.

7. When finished, tab to the OK button and press enter to save the settings, and exit the dialog box.
