MAGic 6.1 Screen Magnification Software
Supports Windows 95, 98 and NT
MAGic includes 3.5 inch diskette, manual, and Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS
support
MAGic (Magnification in Color) is screen magnification software that enlarges a PC,
laptop, or notebook screen from 2 to 20X! It is ideal for low-vision computer users or
anyone who is required to spend extended periods of time in front of a computer screen.
MAGic enlarges text, graphics, or any Windows system screen, maintaining type-through
access in both text and graphics mode. This software-only solution is easy to install and
requires minimal memory.
MAGic for Windows, and NT
MAGic works with all Windows applications, including multimedia applications requiring
256-color support. A pop-up user interface lets the user fine-tune the magnification
attributes, by setting preferences for magnification, panning, tracking, hotkeys, and
advanced options. Screen/context position is maintained when using MAGic's screen locator
option, or by utilizing MAGic's multi-directional screen panning/review mode with
adjustable speed, pause/restart, and screen navigation controls.
MAGic for MS-DOS
MAGic for MS-DOS magnifies text from 1.2 to 12X and graphics 2X. Font
smoothing at magnifications greater than 4 enhance readability. MAGic's review mode
includes smooth panning in eight directions. Horizontal scanning automatically moves to
the next line when the end of the current line is reached. Panning can also be easily
stopped and restarted. A stacked mode option wraps the right side of each screen line
under the left. Unique bookmark indexing allows storage and recall of up to 10 screen
locations.
