1. Work With MenusYou can choose any menu command with the keyboard. Press ALT+ the letter underlined in the menu name, and then press the letter underlined in the command name. To display the shortcut menu use SHIFT+F10 To display the application control menu use SPACEBAR (when the menu bar is active) To select the next or previous command on the menu use DOWN ARROW or UP ARROW (with the menu displayed) To select the menu to the left or right; or, with a submenu displayed, toggle the selection between the main menu and the submenu use LEFT ARROW or RIGHT ARROW.
2. Edit And Move Text
2.1. Select Text And GraphicsSelect text by holding down shift and pressing keys that move the insertion point. As long as you hold down shift and use navigational keys, you will extend the selection. To extend a selection one character to the right use SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW To extend a selection one character to the left use SHIFT+LEFT ARROW To extend a selection to the end of a word use CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW To extend a selection to the beginning of a word use CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT ARROW To extend a selection to the end of a line use SHIFT+END To extend a selection to the beginning of a line use SHIFT+HOME To extend a selection one line down use SHIFT+DOWN ARROW To extend a selection one line up use SHIFT+UP ARROW To extend a selection to the end of a paragraph use CTRL+SHIFT+DOWN ARROW To extend a selection to the beginning of a paragraph use CTRL+SHIFT+UP ARROW To extend a selection one screen down use SHIFT+PAGE DOWN To extend a selection one screen up use SHIFT+PAGE UP To extend a selection to the end of a document use CTRL+SHIFT+ END To extend a selection to the beginning of a document use CTRL+SHIFT+ HOME To extend a selection to include the entire document use CTRL+A To extend a selection to a vertical block of text use CTRL+SHIFT+F8, and then use the ARROW keys; Press ESC to cancel selection mode To extend a selection to a specific location in a document use F8+ARROW keys; press ESC to cancel selection mode Tip: if you know the key combination to move the insertion point, you can select the text by using the same key combination while holding down shift. For example, CTRL+RIGHTARROW moves the insertion point to the next word, and CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW selects the text from the insertion point to the beginning of the next word.
2.2. Copy and Move Text and GraphicsTo copy text or graphics use CTRL+C To copy formats use CTRL+SHIFT+C To move text or graphics use F2 To paste text or graphics use CTRL+V To paste formats use CTRL+SHIFT+V
2.3. Delete Text and GraphicsTo delete one character to the left use BACKSPACE To delete one word to the left use CTRL+BACKSPACE To delete one character to the right use DELETE To delete one word to the right use CTRL+ DELETE To cut selected text to the clipboard use CTRL+X To undo the last action use CTRL+Z To cut to the spike use CTRL+F3
2.4. Move to a Character, Word, Paragraph, Column, or ObjectTo move one character to the left use LEFT ARROW To move one character to the right use RIGHT ARROW To move one word to the left use CTRL+LEFT ARROW To move one word to the right use CTRL+RIGHTARROW To move one paragraph up use CTRL+UP ARROW To move one paragraph down use CTRL+DOWN ARROW To move to the previous frame or object use ALT + UP ARROW To move to the next frame or object use ALT+DOWN ARROW To move one column to the left (in a table) use SHIFT+TAB To move one column to the right (in a table) use TAB

3. Apply Formatting
3.1.
