(This topic was rewritten for version 3.0 and 3.5 of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional.  If you are still using version 2.0, please switch to the topic NatMerge for Version 2.0.)

Over a year ago I wrote a little utility program called NatMerge.  NatMerge allowed you to add macros in batch to Dragon NaturallySpeaking by directly accessing the global.dvc file where macros are stored.  Unfortunately, my original NatMerge only worked with version 2.0 and did not work with version 3.x of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

Because NatMerge was so popular, the tools group at Dragon System rewrote the utility program for version 3.0 and 3.5 of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.  Unfortunately, that code has yet to be release as an official product.  Therefore, with very little permission, I am releasing to you the beta version of
Dragon's official NatMerge utility.

This is a beta version of NatMerge.  Although it looks, smells and works like a real product it is not currently supported.  Therefore, if you download and use this beta version of NatMerge you agree to the following:

You will NOT contact Dragon Technical Support about NatMerge.  You will not call tech support to complain that it does not work.  You will not send e-mail to Dragon Systems (or to me) asking for help in getting it to work.

I am not kidding.  I am making this available to you because so many people asked for it.  I am posting NatMerge as a public service.  Dragon Systems has not authorized me to post NatMerge for your benefit so do not go complaining to them.

You are free to use this program for your own personal use.  You can not resell this program or republish it in any way (just like a real product).

Anyway here is the latest version of NatMerge.  It is a self installing executable.  Simply download it to your system and double click on it.  NatMerge includes its own documentation.  If you want to know more about the global.dvc file where macros are stored, check out All About the Global.dvc File.
