Microsoft has on its web page a free update to Microsoft Office 97 called Service Release 1. If you use NaturalWord, you have to download and install this patch to Microsoft Office.

| Although Microsoft does not list any bug fixes which would relate to speech recognition, they clearly fixed something. Without this patch NaturalWord (dictation into Microsoft Word 97) is unbearably slow. But with this patch, you can dictate into Microsoft Word 97 as fast as you can into Dragon NaturallySpeaking's native editor. |
