A number of people complain that when they use the Correction Dialog and spelled using the natural alphabet, sometimes their letters (especially the letter "e") are doubled.  Naturally, most users react to this inaccuracy during spelling by spelling more slowly.  However, in Dragon NaturallySpeaking spelling more slowly will actually aggravate the problem.

If you use natural spelling in the Correction Dialog, then you'll get the best performance by spelling rapidly.  If you still have problems, then you can also spelled using the alpha-bravo military alphabet.  However, you must pause when switching between the natural alphabet ("a", "b", etc.) and the military alphabet ("alpha", "brave", etc.).

Here are the words used to dictate letters in the military alphabet in Dragon NaturallySpeaking.  (This is the same alphabet which is used in DragonDictate for Windows).

   alpha
   bravo
   Charlie
   delta
   echo
   foxtrot
   golf
   hotel
   india
   Juliett
   kilo ("keelo")
   lima ("leema")
   Mike
   November
   Oscar
   papa
   Romeo
   Quebec
   sierra
   tango
   uniform
   victor
   whiskey
   xray
   yankee

Remember, you can speak the military alphabet continuously or the natural alphabet continuously in the Correction Dialog, but if you mix the two, you must pause between them.
