Long after children (or adults for that matter) understand their ability to affect the environment, they'll still enjoy playing these games.

Special Mac Features
On the Macintosh versions, you can set the games or cartoons to run continuously with or without switch activation. You can collect all of a student's records from Laureate's Mac programs in one file. On Creature Antics, Capers, Chorus, and Features, you can have the characters appear either on a black background or within a colorful scene.

Creature Antics

Creature Antics has a cast of five different characters, each with its own animated routine. A natural sounding voice prompts the user to participate. When the user activates a switch, a zany creature puts on a hilarious performance. Additional switch activations cause the routine to change and continue.

Creature Cartoons

This Macintosh program contains five cartoons, each with an amusing story line. It can be used to train cause and effect and turn-taking, but also works well with higher functioning individuals who have motoric impairments and need practice using a single switch. You can set the program to run with command prompts, such as "Show me more," or situational prompts which are natural pauses in the cartoon. As a reward, you can run the cartoons without prompts so that no switch activation is required.

At the user's command, two lively creatures take turns performing short routines.

Shrinker
This touch screen game trains discrete pointing by requiring the user to touch inside a gradually shrinking box or circle that surrounds an animated creature.
