Product Descriptions:
My House, My Town, and My School offer exciting, exploratory environments in which children and adults with language impairments can learn about the objects and activities they encounter in their daily routines. You can train all of the objects in a particular setting or select specific items to be targeted. These programs are not only fun to use, they build functional language skills and increase independence.

Special Mac, Windows, and DOS Features
The Macintosh, Windows and DOS versions now include data collection and a text option. The Macintosh and Windows version has two scanning options: linear and step scanning. You can collect all of a student's records from Laureate's Mac programs in one file.

Four activities for each scene

Discover Names
Select an object within the scene and the computer tells you what it is (e.g. "This is the stove.").

Discover Functions/Descriptions
Select an object and the computer will tell you what it does or gives a description of it (e.g. "A bicycle is a vehicle with two wheels.").

Identify Names
The computer prompts you to find various objects according to their names (e.g. "Find the sidewalk.").

Identify Functions/Descriptions
The computer asks you to find certain objects according to their function or description (e.g. "Where do you hang up your clothes?").

My House

My HouseThis program helps children and adults develop independence in their homes. Your clients will have fun exploring six different rooms in a house. They'll learn to identify the names and functions of over 100 common household objects.
