Flexibility and control

This program comes with 5 pre-selected stimulus sets or you can create customized lessons based on language age, categories (e.g. animals, vehicles, etc.) or the specific vocabulary items that you want to train. Text and reinforcement animation can be turned on or off.

Seven Activities are available.

Introducing Nouns and Sounds
A single picture appears on the screen and the computer gives the name of the noun and the sound it makes ("Listen to the sound a pig makes & oink, oink.").
Identifying Noun Sounds
This activity uses 6, 8, or 12 pictures. The computer asks a question (e.g. "Which one makes this sound & quack, quack.") and your child has to identify the correct picture.
Matching Nouns and Sounds
Your child is asked to choose the correct noun based on the sound it makes ("Find the one that makes this sound & meow.").

Is this the Right Sound?
In this activity, the computer asks a question ("Does a clock make this sound?") and then plays a sound. Your child must decide if the sound matches or does not match the picture.

Exploring Noun Sounds
In this activity, 6, 8, or 12 pictures appear and when your child clicks on a picture, the computer identifies the noun and plays its sound (e.g. "A telephone makes this sound... ring, ring.").
Concentrate on Noun Sounds
An array of 6, 8, or 12 cards appear face down on the screen and your child must find two identical cards. There is also an option to find matches based on sounds alone.

Remember That Sound
In this activity, the computer plays a sound before the pictures appear. After a delay, the pictures appear and your child is asked to select the one that matches the sound.
