Early Vocabulary Training
| First Words, First Words II, First
Verbs These programs provide highly structured tutorial training of 100
early developing nouns and 40 verbs. Words are presented in isolation or with one other
picture on the screen. Six levels of training, a variety of customization features, and
built-in accessibility accommodate a wide range of learning styles. These programs provide
the controlled, consistent instruction that many individuals with disabilities need to
acquire an initial vocabulary.
Exploring First Words, Exploring First Words II, and Exploring First Verbs The Exploring Early Vocabulary Series reinforces the vocabulary from First Words, First
Words II, and First Verbs in engaging, exploratory environments. These programs use rich,
full-screen scenes to encourage open-ended exploration and collaborative learning. Both
Exploring First Words and Exploring First Words II have 10 engaging scenes which allow
learners to discover nouns and their descriptions in natural settings. Exploring First
Verbs has 8 exciting scenes which illustrate each verb action with animation.
