This is the speech properties panel. Click here to view the Characters tab. Click here to view the Pronunciation tab. Click here to view the Screen Reading tab. Click here to view the Hotkeys tab. Click here to view the Speech Balloon tab. This slider controls the pitch of your voice.  It is measured in Hertz. Click this button to hear a sample of the voice with your current settings. These radio buttons control the tone of the voice. This slider controls the speed of your voice.  It is measured in Words Per Minute. This is the Adjust Voice tab. This slider controls the volume of your voice.  This is a relative measurement, and is also controlled by the volume control on your computer. This slider can be used to insert a pause between words.  It only has an effect in the Text Reader Window.

This is where you may customize the voice. It is possible to adjust the pitch, speed, volume and pause between words as they are spoken. If you find that ScreenReader is not pronouncing a word correctly you and adjust the pronunciation from the appropriate tab of the speech options panel.
